David Chadwick is a Nelson-based photographer with a diverse range of specializations, including landscape, commercial, real estate, and wedding photography. He believes that great photographs deserve the title of “art” just as much as painting or sculpture, and he brings technical skill, experience, and a bit of courage to every shot. Having worked in the industry for years, David is known for his professional approach, attention to detail, and ability to exceed client expectations. His passion for capturing a single, perfect moment is evident in his hard work and dedication. He works almost exclusively in the digital medium, but his aim is always to get it right “in camera.” David is proud that many of his clients have become firm friends, valuing their personal recommendations above all else. A former CEO of three European high-tech organizations, he brings a deep understanding of business to his commercial photography, helping clients tell their story and increase brand awareness. Originally from the UK, David moved to New Zealand in 2010 and now lives in Nelson, where the incredible diversity of the natural landscapes provides daily inspiration.
