Before settling in New Zealand, Angelika travelled extensively, visiting over forty countries and living in diverse locations including Belarus, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. This global experience shaped her photographic vision, particularly developing her love for street and people photography. In 2013, she made the decision to turn her passion into a profession, and hasn’t looked back since.
Over her career, Angelika has photographed more than one hundred weddings, countless portrait, family, and children’s sessions, and numerous workshops. Despite years in the industry, she remains enthusiastic about her craft, continually finding new ways to connect with clients and create meaningful images. Her experience across such a wide range of photography styles means she brings adaptability and creative problem-solving to every session.
Pet photography has become Angelika’s latest passion, and she loves working with furry friends of all sizes and breeds. From cats and kittens to dogs and puppies, rabbits and guinea pigs, purebred or rescue animals, she welcomes them all into her studio or photographs them in their natural environments. Her genuine affection for animals shines through in her work, creating portraits that capture each pet’s unique personality.
When she’s not behind the camera, Angelika makes the most of living in beautiful Northland, exploring the region, enjoying beach time with her dog Bonnie, boating with her husband, and taking breaks to relax in Fiji or ski in Japan.
