Hayden, the photographer behind Black Label Photography, is based in The Catlins. He is a wedding, portrait, and surf photographer who has spent most of his life exploring and surfing in this unique part of the country. Hayden’s wedding photography style is relaxed and low-stress, combining journalistic-style images with minimal posed portraits to provide variety. He understands that most people are not models and avoids complicated or uncomfortable posing. In addition to his wedding work, he also excels at landscape photography, particularly of the rugged coastline and dense rainforests of The Catlins, with his work available as prints and canvases.
